ETL DEVELOPER - AB - Calgary

Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced senior software engineer.
Minimum of 4 years ETL experience in an operational data warehouse
environment to develop mission critical high up time solutions for
major data financial warehouse applications utilizing a thorough
understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.

Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests, acts as expert
technical resource in the program development, testing, and
implementation process.

Required Skills:
MUST HAVE 3+years with the following:
- Unix Bourne/Korn Shell scripting (very strong)
- Significant experience writing command-line SQL with more than one
DBMS environment (prefer AIX UNIX)
- DB2/UDB (DB2 on Unix/LINUX)
- ANSI or DB2 SQL (not PL/SQL, not T-SQL)
- DataStage (prefer DataStage/PX Enterprise Edition)
- Data warehousing - an understanding of data.

Additional requirements:

- C, C++, Embedded SQL
- ClearCase
- X-Windows
- WINSQL, RAPIDSQL
